My name is Mike. I have stage 4 advanced heart failure. I dont have a heart beat or a pulse, but I can tell you what I DO have. I have a love for our country and the people who protect it. I also have an SOSK9s service dog. His name is Dez, he is my balance assistance dog.

He helps me with my normal daily that people take for granted. Example. Getting up steps, in and out if bed, to the bathroom etc. So when I see our veterans struggle with daily tasks and ptsd, my heart goes out to them. Cause I know what Dez does for me, and how dogs of his nature can really improve someone’s quality of life.

Bang, TeamDBAD. We are here to try to help with the little bit if extra that no one else will help with. Sure, I CAN’T hold your hand when going to the grocery store… BUT sosk9s can help. Not with a human hand, but maybe a paw instead. Fuck yeah. I stand behind this BECAUSE I HAVE ONE!
